Emily & Andrew
Our first event of the year and what a great start! We had the pleasure of spending Sunday morning with Emily & Andrew and their families and friends celebrating their wedding. The ceremony was held at Norfolk Botanical Garden in Rose Garden Hall. A jazz brunch followed in the same room. Emily chose a palette of sage green with accents of purple. She asked us to design the floral for the event. I looked for hints of Emily's personality and found them in the fact that she chose a birdcage veil! LOVED IT! She also mentioned that she wanted something "wild, with fun things coming out"! I think we achieved that.
Guests danced to Big Band and Jazz while sipping Mimosas and Bloody Marys. The menu included French Toast to Frittata! The garden was beautiful in it's winter glory. The sun streamed in and trees stood in naked sculptural glory. It was a wonderful day!
