I am always amazed when a client invites 300 or more guests to their wedding.  I am not sure that I know that many people!  My largest wedding invited 800 and 600 guests attended.  Hard not to have a party with that many people.  If I were doing it again and price were no object I would probably include every past client, vendor, acquaintance!

The shocking fact is that 15 - 20% of guests do not RSVP when invited.  Of course you prepare for them, but at what cost?  Below are moderate prices for every 10 guests:

  • 10 Meals                               $650 (incl. cocktail hour)
  • 5 Hours open bar $30/pp        $300
  • 10 Chiavari ballroom chairs     $ 80 (incl. tax and delivery)
  • 1 Specialty linen and base       $ 70
  • 10 place settings                    $100
  • 1 Centerpiece                         $100
  • 10 invitations                          $ 50
  • Postage                                 $ 10
  • Calligraphy                             $ 40
  • 10 place cards                         $10
  • 10 programs                           $ 15
  • 10 menu cards                        $ 10
  • 10 slices of cake                      $ 30
  • Favor                                      $ 30

GRAND TOTAL                                $1495 or $ 149.50 /pp
